What the role involves

• Implementing strategies to increase successful collectionson outstanding debt and improve efficiency in ways of working.
• Establishing effective partnerships with customers andinternal stakeholders across the business.
• Hosting regular debt review meetings with key stakeholdersto ensure business leaders have visibility of the debt profile of their areaand ensuring a collaborative approach to resol.
• Analysing data and preparing detailed reports on the statusof credit and collections, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
• Leading, co-ordinate and mentor the credit control team,setting clear objectives and performance standards and conducting regular teammeetings.
• Managing complex account queries and resolving or escalatingproblems as they arise.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.
