As a Cybersecurity Consulting Analyst, you will collaborate with engagement teams to support key client projects by conducting research, developing quality deliverables, assisting with workshops, and gathering information and requirements. You will also work closely with client stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered effectively and professionally. 

Your contributions will span a wide range of engagements, including digital identity, cybersecurity and resilience remediation, regulatory compliance programmes, organisational maturity assessments and benchmarking, as well as crisis readiness and training activities, among other project types. 

You will work across multiple domains, including, but not limited to:  

  • Digital Identity: Help organisations strengthen how they manage and control access by assessing current capabilities, designing modern identity solutions, and guiding the adoption of secure, user-friendly authentication and governance practices.  

  • Operational Resilience: Support clients in preparing for and withstanding disruption by analysing critical services, identifying weaknesses, and shaping frameworks that maintain continuity during unexpected events.  

  • Security Operations: Work with clients to improve how they detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats. They assess SOC maturity, enhance monitoring and incident response processes, and help implement capabilities that keep organisations ahead of evolving attacks. 

Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project leads and clients to solve cybersecurity and resilience challenges by adopting to a risk-driven, detailed and analytical way of analysing problems and identifying solutions.  

  • Support the execution of project workstreams and project management activities. 

  • Conduct research and data analysis to deliver insights and support client projects.  

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, workshops, and client deliverables.  

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and market developments. This typically includes maintaining an understanding of cybersecurity tooling available on the market, the evolving threat landscape and cybersecurity incidents occurring to organisations across the globe. 

  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your consulting skills and your cybersecurity and resilience subject matter knowledge. 

  • Contribute to various internal activities, meaningfully to build your network and enhance Wavestone’s presence in the market.  

  • Embody our values and act as a responsible ambassador of Wavestone.  


Qualifications

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree. We are open to receiving applications from recent graduates, as well as people with less than 2 years’ work experience, who have the motivation to build a career in cybersecurity and resilience consulting  

  • Natural curiosity about how to solve business problems   

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Attention to detail and the ability to master new concepts 

  • Strong verbal and written communication  

  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, and work independently, when needed  

  • Ability to foster relationships, build trust, and work collaboratively   

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint (experience with data analysis tools is a plus) 

  • You need to be eligible to live and work in the UK at the point of joining. Wavestone do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment process consists of two initial selection stages, followed by an on‑site Assessment Day. Candidates who are successful in the early stages of the process will be invited to attend the Assessment Day, which will take place on the 4th June 2026.

Attendance at the on‑site Assessment Day is mandatory for shortlisted candidates. Applicants must therefore be available to attend the assessment date. Please confirm your availability for this date when submitting your application.

  • £37,000 base salary eligible for a fixed £2,000 bonus in your first year

Travel and Location  

  • Employees are not required to work in a Wavestone office on a full-time basis but are required to commute to the office /client site, whenever necessary. Wavestone UK office is in the heart of the City of London.   

  • Note: Mandatory 3 days per week in Wavestone office / client site during probation
