What the role involves

• Ensure culturally competent practice aligned with safeguarding requirements.
• Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission.
• To provide leadership, supervision, reflection, and risk management to the key workers on the team.

Skills and requirements

• Registered on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practise.
• £5000 car allowance (Pro rata).
• £10,000 signing on fee.
• 30 days annual leave (Pro rata) plus bank holidays and your birthday off!

Confirmed role details

• As a Part-time Consultant Psychiatrist (3 days/week) you will work in a service that delivers evidence-based, individualised treatment programmes designed to meet each young person.

Additional role context

• An interest in research and a willingness to supervise trainees will be encouraged.
