What the role involves

  • Leading planning, delivery, and development of the dance curriculum in the Junior School and Nursery.
  • Teaching a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz, and Acro.
  • Support Junior School productions and performances.
  • Delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and performance opportunities.
  • Supporting rehearsals, showcases, workshops, and school productions.
  • Develop extra-curricular clubs, workshops, and enrichment opportunities.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

  • Part-Time Dance & Performing Arts Teacher (50–70%).

Candidate fit

  • Strong dance background with a relevant qualification (e.g. ISTD, RAD) desirable.
