Dance Teacher focuses on leading planning, delivery, and development of the dance curriculum in the junior school and nursery.
What the role involves
- Leading planning, delivery, and development of the dance curriculum in the Junior School and Nursery.
- Teaching a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz, and Acro.
- Support Junior School productions and performances.
- Delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and performance opportunities.
- Supporting rehearsals, showcases, workshops, and school productions.
- Develop extra-curricular clubs, workshops, and enrichment opportunities.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

- Part-Time Dance & Performing Arts Teacher (50–70%).
Candidate fit
- Strong dance background with a relevant qualification (e.g. ISTD, RAD) desirable.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build positive relationships.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
