This Dangerous Goods / Process Safety Senior Consultant role is focused on working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will lead projects covering dangerous goods storage and handling, DSEAR. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Provide UK and EU safety advice, helping clients manage regulatory requirements with a clear, proportionate approach to risk. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will lead projects covering dangerous goods storage and handling, DSEAR. Seveso-type risks and wider process safety, while helping grow Arup’s capability in the UK and Europe.

What needs to be in place

  • A degree in engineering, science, mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
  • Chartered status with a relevant institution such as IChemE, IOSH or IMechE.
