What the role involves

• Provide field engineering support to operations teams to maintain high availability, safety, and operational stability.
• Review design and construction deliverables to ensure field operability, maintainability, and compliance with hyperscale standards.
• Supporting operational readiness activities, including commissioning handover and transition into live production environments.
• Managing vendor performance to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of maintenance and infrastructure works.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Building Services Engineering.
• 4+ years’ experience in data centers or other critical environments (field engineering, operations, or facilities).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of UPS, generators, LV/HV distribution, cooling systems, fire/life safety, and BMS.
• Experience working in live production environments with responsibility for uptime and operational performance.

• Lead fault investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of permanent corrective actions for critical infrastructure issues.
