Data Center Technician
Job description
This Data Center Technician role in Slough Berkshire is focused on working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment (If applicable). It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Where someone would start
Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment (If applicable). Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture. Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
What is expected
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in Linux and Networking protocols, or experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP and experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting.
