Data Centre Technical Manager focuses on develop, and mentor the site engineering team in all aspects of critical maintenance and operations.

What the role involves

  • Develop, and mentor the site engineering team in all aspects of critical maintenance and operations.
  • Ensure continuous operation of all business-critical systems and plant with 100% availability.
  • Managing planned and reactive maintenance delivery—balancing cost efficiency with high performance.
  • Maintain compliance with all health & safety procedures and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain technical documentation such as switching schedules, SOPs, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all records are accurate and auditable.

Skills and requirements

  • Understanding of water hygiene (L8), BMS and HVAC systems, and system integration and handover experience.
  • Must be an HV Authorised Person (HVAP) with demonstrable experience enabling appointment at Senior Authorised Person (SAP) level.
  • Collaborate within a strong, supportive team culture focused on safety, reliability, and innovation.

Confirmed role details

  • OTE c£95,000 – Made up of Salary, annual performance bonus + Car Allowance + Mgmt Benefits.
