Data Engineer

Data Engineer focuses on build, and optimise scalable data models in snowflake using dbt to support analytics and reporting requirements.

What the role involves

• Build, and optimise scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Support data migration projects from legacy systems into Snowflake, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Maintain, and troubleshoot end-to-end data pipelines and workflows across multiple concurrent migration projects.
• Perform hands-on SQL development to deliver complex data transformations, calculations, and analytical queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design.
• Deliver data products, reporting structures, and semantic layers that meet business needs.

Skills and requirements

• Advanced SQL skills for complex data transformation, modelling, and analytics in a data warehouse environment.
• Proven experience using dbt (data build tool) to design, implement.
• Demonstrated experience in data pipeline troubleshooting and infrastructure support, including diagnosing failures and optimising performance.
• Experience with data orchestration frameworks (for example, modern workflow orchestration tools) to schedule.
