As a Data Engineer in Computer Science, the work centres on maintaining scalable data pipelines within the Databricks platform. It would suit someone who can bring ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency and governance across data platforms to the role.

Where the work sits

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design. Be responsible for developing robust ETL/ELT processes, building high-performance data pipelines using Py.

Technical work involved

Maintain scalable data pipelines within the Databricks platform. Support Data Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture frameworks. Monitoring, troubleshoot and optimise data processing workloads and platform performance.

Technical skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related discipline.

  • Azure Fundamentals or Azure Data Fundamentals certifications (desirable).
