Data Platform Engineer focuses on ops, backend and cloud development on the data infrastructure to develop innovative solutions to effectively scale.

What the role involves

• Ops, backend and cloud development on the data infrastructure to develop innovative solutions to effectively scale.
• Design, and take ownership of the implementation.
• Monitor the performance of the data platform and evaluate improvements in design, architecture and tooling.
• Build internal data platform tooling to enable best practice development and delivery of our data products.
• · Take ownership of production systems, independently investigating issues, identifying root causes and driving them through to resolution.
• · 3+ years of professional Python development experience as a Data Platform Engineer, using AWS.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
