Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver position centres on driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to our customers doorsteps, on-time and in great condition. It would suit someone who can bring confident in learning to use new technology to do your job brilliantly, comfortable driving a large vehicle in different locations from residential streets to country lanes to the role.

Where someone would start

Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to our customers doorsteps, on-time and in great condition. When not on the road, you’ll help maintain a slick operation in the stock room or on the shop floor. Happy working in a fast-paced, physical and high energy environment, using initiative to solve problems – often working on your own but also thrive in being part of a team.

What helps someone build confidence

Confident in learning to use new technology to do your job brilliantly, comfortable driving a large vehicle in different locations from residential streets to country lanes. Dependable and self-motivated working style.

What is expected

• You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
• Complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us.
• Friendly and professional with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and to provide the best doorstep experience as the face of Argos.
