Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver focuses on delivering product to customer’s premises within a mile radius.

What the role involves

• Delivering product to customer’s premises within a mile radius.
• Ensure high levels of customer service at all times.
• Feedback to branch on relevant customer and competitor activity.
• Loading your vehicle according to procedures.
• Vehicle maintenance including carrying out daily checks.
• Assisting with Inter-Branch Transfer Deliveries as and when required.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Excellent knowledge of mile radius of branch.
• Previous experience within a delivery driver role.

Candidate fit

• Safe driving, reliability, customer communication, and good route discipline.

Additional role context

• Up to (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working - depending on the cover needed in the branch.
• Delivery Driver's play a crucial part of the team within GSF Car Parts.
• Our Delivery Drivers are important to us, giving customer feedback insights and ensuring we stay committed to delivering goods within the promised time.
