What the role involves
- · Operate vehicle to transport goods to a specified destinations in line with schedules.
- · Use navigation systems to optimise travel routes and avoid traffic delays.
- · Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations and always drive the vehicle in line with statutory and legislative regulations.
- · Heavy lifting, moving, protecting, wrapping, and managing all products with all due care and attention.
- · Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained and smoke free.
- · Report any issues, vehicle defects or delivery problems daily in a timely fashion.
Skills and requirements
- · Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Category B for cars, Category C for lorries).
- · Flexibility working an average of 45 hrs per week.
