What the role involves

• Provide high-quality hygiene treatments, including scaling, root planing and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Carry out detailed patient assessments.
• Use modern equipment such as EMS Airflow, Cavitron and intra-oral cameras with confidence.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health in a clear, supportive way.
• Maintaining strict infection control and sterilisation procedures.

Skills and requirements

• Current HCPC registration.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Proficiency with modern dental equipment and software.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols.
