Dental Nurse focuses on preparing patients for clinics, providing support to anxious patients.

• Preparing patients for clinics, providing support to anxious patients.
• Delivering sensitive pre- and post-operative education (such as oral hygiene and cancer care) Clinic and treatment room preparation.
• Assisting clinicians to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery.

Skills and requirements

• To be considered, you must.
• Be currently working within an NHS trust in an Oral surgery service.
• Have recent, hands-on experience supporting patients within: Oral surgery/tooth extractions.
• Have been actively undertaking this work for at least 6 months within the past 12 months.

Confirmed role details

• Availability: Saturdays & Sundays.
• We are currently seeking experienced Dental nurse's to support weekend insourcing surgical lists in Southampton, helping deliver NHS waiting list initiatives across.
• Chairside assistance.
• Infection control, and tooth extractions.
