As a Depute Headteacher, the work centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Role overview

For those appointed, who do not yet hold the Standard for Headship, you will be required to complete the Into Headship qualification within 30 months of appointment. Model all behaviour expected of a Teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards.
