Deputy Sister/ Charge Nurse Critical Care Outreach

As a Registered Nurse in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover, the work centres on within the outreach team you will support ward based nursing and medical staff to enable them to recognise and treat deteriorating patients within the ward are. It would suit someone who can bring patient care is at the heart of what we do at our three hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover, as well as in the care we provide in the community to the role.

Where the work sits

You will provide support and follow up to post critical care patients in ward areas and provide ongoing support for patient care and management. Evidence of critical care skills to care for level 2 and level 3 patients.

How the role works day to day

Within the outreach team you will support ward based nursing and medical staff to enable them to recognise and treat deteriorating patients within the ward are. Happy to Talk Flexible Working - all requests for flexible and Part Time working will be considered.

What needs to be in place

• Demonstrate recent ability to care for level 2 and level 3 patients.
• Registered nurse (degree level) minimum 2.2 degree.
• Significant recent critical care experience as a sister/charge nurse.
