Design Engineer focuses on develop engineering designs for hazardous area heaters, including drafting and revising technical drawings.

What the role involves

• Develop engineering designs for hazardous area heaters, including drafting and revising technical drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations and generate technical documentation to support contracts.
• Utilise Autodesk Inventor and other engineering software for 3D mechanical modelling and drawings.
• Ensure all designs align with client specifications, industry codes, and internal standards.
• Ensure design accuracy and compliance with certification requirements, local and international regulations.
• Verify and validate control system interfaces within the heater design.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

• Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).
• Work closely with project teams, producing technical drawings, calculations, and documentation to support engineering projects.
