What the role involves
- Leading design strategy across all project phases.
- Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, and specialist suppliers.
- Managing design quality, schedules, risk, and budget control.
- Supporting BIM, Digital Twins, AutoCAD, Revit, and integrated delivery tools.
- Reporting design progress to senior leadership and programme directors.
Skills and requirements
- Proven Design Manager experience on major capital projects.
- Background in complex built environment or infrastructure-led programmes.
- Strong understanding of RIBA Plan of Work.
- Experience within design-and-build delivery models.
