Job description
This Design & Technology Teacher role is focused on in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. It would suit someone who can bring understanding and application of the curriculum and strategies to raise standards across the ability range through effective teaching and learning to the role.
How the role is set up
Teacher of Design & Technology. Full-Time, fixed-term contract20 hours teaching, 5 hours PPATrack students’ progress and use assessment information to inform teaching and learning.
Where someone would start
In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Assisting in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the curriculum/learning area. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Understanding and application of the curriculum and strategies to raise standards across the ability range through effective teaching and learning.
What is expected
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Experience teaching DT at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
