Job description

This Development Control Engineer opportunity is built around liaison with the local authority planning department, external organisations, developers and the public to provide pre-application highways advice. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Where ownership sits

What the role depends on

  • Must also be able to work to deadlines as well as be flexible with duties and have the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Must have previous experience in Highways or Planning Development Control/ Design including knowledge of the Highways Act, CDM legislation and management of teams and works.
  • Must have a full driver's license.

Practical details

  • Duration: Temp to Perm ( may be Permanent from the outset for the right candidate).
  • £20.19 per hour worked ( may be flexible for the right candidate).
