Director of Cost Management focuses on driving the continuous improvement and strengthening of the cost management function across all pm group data centre projects.
What the role involves
- Driving the continuous improvement and strengthening of the Cost Management function across all PM Group Data Centre projects.
- Act as the lead Quantity Surveyor, overseeing the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), detailed cost estimates, and tender documentation for client projects.
- Maintain rigorous cost management systems tailored to client and project requirements.
- Monitor, and control project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report on progress against cost.
- Delivering accurate cost reports, cash flows, and final accounts, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
Skills and requirements
- Must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor (e.g., MRICS, MSCSI, or equivalent professional accreditation).
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
- Lead and shape the Cost Management function, setting best practices and standards for the division.

- Further develop cost management process including templates, systems and procedures.
