Director of Electrical Engineering focuses on lead, and grow the business line.

What the role involves

• Lead, and grow the business line.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the electrical services division, including market positioning, service offerings, revenue targets, and growth milestones.
• Define short- and long-term strategic goals, presenting progress and performance to senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Manage the full P&L for the business line, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
• Provide authoritative technical direction across the full spectrum of electrical engineering services, including low-voltage (LV), medium-voltage (MV), and high-voltage (HV) system.
• Overseeing the design, installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and infrastructure projects.

Skills and requirements

• As a result of the above, we are now seeking a highly experience Electrical Services Director to establish.
• Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the electrical services industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Extensive business development and client management experience, with a strong professional network in the electrical sector.

Additional role context

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities across Energy related market sectors.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, engineering quality frameworks, and best-practice methodologies across the business line.
• Act as technical authority and escalation point for complex or high-risk projects.
