What the role involves

• Oversee the organisation’s quality, risk, and governance framework across all services nationally.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and all relevant legislation.
• Develop and implement quality assurance systems, audits, and governance processes.
• Monitoring service performance, identify risks, and implement effective improvement plans.
• Leading investigations relating to incidents, complaints, safeguarding, and regulatory concerns.
• Produce governance reports and present findings to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience in a senior quality, governance, or compliance leadership role within healthcare or social care.
• Experience supporting multiple services across a large geographical area.
• Registered Nurse qualification desirable but not essential.
• Ability to manage complex investigations and implement sustainable improvements.
