Domestic Assistant focuses on maintaining cleanliness of domestic areas within timescales, including dusting, washing hard surfaces, sweeping floors, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning sinks, showers and toilets.

What the role involves

• Maintaining cleanliness of domestic areas within timescales, including dusting, washing hard surfaces, sweeping floors, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning sinks, showers and toilets.
• Make beds and preparing accommodation for the arrival of residential customers.
• Undertake cleaning of other buildings and facilities Onsite, including office, meeting rooms, classrooms, etc.
• Maintaining an awareness of Hampshire County Council's and Centre’s policies and procedures and applying them in the day-to-day job requirements.
• Be part of a team of four Domestic Assistants.
• We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.
