Job description

You must have previous cleaning experience and the ability to follow established policies, procedures, and instructions. A strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene is essential, as is the capacity to deliver an efficient and effective cleaning service that meets the needs of the children and young people within the home.

Applicants should be able to communicate effectively with children, young people, and staff, and work collaboratively as part of a team. You must also be willing to undertake all necessary training and development opportunities to support your role.

As the successful candidate, you will share responsibility with care staff for ensuring the home is kept clean, tidy, and safe, helping to provide a welcoming and healthy environment. Flexibility is essential, as is a positive attitude towards role modelling healthy choices for children and young people.
