Domestic Gas Engineer
Domestic Gas Engineer focuses on repair of modern and traditional boilers, and to be able to carry out repairs to central heating systems, including fitting new pumps, motorised valves, radiators and pipework adap.
What the role involves
- Repair of modern and traditional boilers, and to be able to carry out repairs to central heating systems, including fitting new pumps, motorised valves, radiators and pipework adap.
- To be competent in fault diagnosis.
- To undertake Power Flushing of heating systems.
- To ensure the security and correct operation of all work equipment supplied, including vehicles, tools, flue gas analysis meters, and mobile data equipment.
- To ensure all Certification and Documentation is recorded accurately and in good time.
- To have a sound knowledge of Customer Care and to possess the ability to deal with potentially impatient or angry tenants while being able to cope with the emotional demands that d.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum of CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1, HTR1 & CPA1.
- DAH1, Unvented Hot Water, WRAS (water supply regulations 1999) Desirable.
- Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training.
- Certificate of Training Achievement for Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid (1-Day), or other. Desirable.
