Drainage Engineer focuses on carrying out planned and reactive drainage maintenance across a cluster of commercial buildings.

What the role involves

• Carrying out planned and reactive drainage maintenance across a cluster of commercial buildings.
• Undertaking drainage camera surveys on rainwater gullies, stacks and below-ground systems.
• Supporting the development and upkeep of drainage plans and asset information.
• Diagnosing drainage issues and recommending corrective or improvement works.
• Supervising and coordinating specialist drainage subcontractors on-site.
• Supporting landlord areas primarily, with some involvement in tenant areas when required.

Skills and requirements

• A recognised plumbing qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Strong working knowledge of commercial drainage systems.
• L8 awareness or qualification.
• Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Drainage Engineer – FM Service Provider – High-end residential buildings – Canary Wharf, London – up to £48,000 per annum.
• In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
