Driver Class 2

HGV Class 2 Driver focuses on ensure vehicle checks are completed each day before the vehicle is driven, and all legal documents are handed into the transport office.

What the role involves

• Ensure vehicle checks are completed each day before the vehicle is driven, and all legal documents are handed into the transport office.
• To ensure the security of the Company vehicle at all times.
• To operate within the law and to raise any vehicle maintenance concerns immediately with the Transport Manager.
• To work as part of a team and be a last point of contact for customers, providing Our products ‘On Time In Full’ (OTIF).
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Company policy and procedures and to report any accidents of near misses to your line manager immediately.
• Be prepared to drive long distances with regular overnight stays.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Monday – Friday (40 hrs per week).
• Also be required at times to load vehicles when necessary.
• Assist in unloading our products at customer’s premises.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 nights out per week.
