Drivers Mate focuses on assisting with the delivery of goods to customers safely, on time, and in full, following all legal and company requirements.

What the role involves

• Assisting with the delivery of goods to customers safely, on time, and in full, following all legal and company requirements.
• Work closely with the Warehouse, Transport, and Office teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Supporting yard and loading activities as required.
• Assisting with the completion of multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive, health & safety, and company policies.
• Handling delivery issues professionally, escalating to the Transport or Customer Service team when needed.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience in a Driver's Mate role (dray experience preferred).
• Experience in multi-drop delivery environments is desirable.

Confirmed role details

• 48 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday 04.00 to 06.00 starts.
• A professional Driver's Mate to work on behalf of our client in Bedfordon a temporary basis.
• 28 days paid holiday (Pro Rata).
