Early Years Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on to contribute to children's Early Years Profiles. It would suit someone who can bring to provide a warm, caring, and stimulating environment for the children to work in to the role.

Role overview

Ivy House Nursery is a co-educational nursery for children aged 2 to 4 years and is looking for a Nursery Assistant to join in September 2026. Ability to interact with children and support their involvement in a range of activities including outdoor play.

Main responsibilities

To contribute to children's Early Years Profiles. To implement the Early Years Foundation Stage.

To provide a warm, caring, and stimulating environment for the children to work in. Warm, reliable, and clear in communication.

Requirements

• To demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Ability to relate well to children and adults including colleagues, other professionals and parents.
• Proven experience of working with children.
