Early Years Practitioner focuses on plan their next developmental steps in line with the early years foundation stage.
What the role involves
- Plan their next developmental steps in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Record daily observations for children in your care.
- Deliver stimulating indoor and outdoor activities.
- Supporting children, co-workers and parents alike.
- Assisting in ensuring that the Nursery is a safe environment for children.
Skills and requirements
- An Early Years qualification is ideal, not essential and childcare experience is desirable.
- A commitment to providing high-quality childcare including physical care and hygienic practice for children aged 4 months – 5 years.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding good practice.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification or willingness to train.
Confirmed role details
- Joining Bonus! Total of £500.
- Early Years Financial Incentive Scheme, we can now offer a £1000 payment to eligible new or returning staff, funded by the Department for Education.
