Early Years Practitioner focuses on help deliver activities that support children's early development.
What the role involves
- Help deliver activities that support children's early development.
- Observe children's development and contribute to progress records and assessments.
- Promote communication, creativity, and social interaction through play-based learning.
- Establish positive routines that support children's wellbeing and independence.
- Work with colleagues and families to support children's development.
- Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
- Positive, caring, and energetic approach to working with young children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
