What the role involves

• This is an excellent opportunity to support young learners at the very start of their educational journey, with a particular focus on children with additional needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils within the EYFS setting.
• Assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting activities to meet individual needs.
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences.

Skills and requirements

• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Confirmed role details

• September Start | Full Time.
• Competitive weekly pay.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
• In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Candidate fit

• Experience working with children in an EYFS or SEN setting.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• A good understanding of early childhood development.
