What the role involves

  • Deliver creative and engaging EYFS lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development.
  • Record pupil progress effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.

Skills and requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching within EYFS (Desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
