Responsibilities

  • The Economics Teacher will deliver high-quality instruction across Key Stages 4 (GCSE) and 5 (A-Level).
  • The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and encouraging sophisticated economic analysis, model application, and critical debate on fiscal policy.
  • They must lead engaging sessions focused on both theoretical concepts and current global economic affairs.
  • The Economics Teacher is expected to ensure consistent high academic results for all pupils, particularly those preparing for competitive higher education in Economics or Finance.
  • The teacher must participate proactively in curriculum planning and support co-curricular academic societies.

Requirements

  • Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has the right to work in the UK.
  • Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Economics.
