As a Educational Support Specialist, the work centres on have a passion for working with children with SEN and be eager to develop their career in a probationary or educational support role. It would suit someone who can bring supporting students with challenging behaviours and complex learning needs, promoting positive behaviour management to the role.
Role overview
Help students to overcome barriers to their success by using restorative and rehabilitative approaches. Promote restorative justice and help students reflect on their actions and take responsibility for their behaviour.
Main responsibilities
Have a passion for working with children with SEN and be eager to develop their career in a probationary or educational support role. Engage with students through mentoring, support groups, and one-to-one sessions to build trust and emotional resilience. A willingness to learn and develop new skills, particularly within the field of probation or educational support.

Requirements
