Electrical Authorised Person (LV AP) focuses on act as the appointed lv authorised person (ap) for site electrical systems.

What the role involves

• Act as the appointed LV Authorised Person (AP) for site electrical systems.
• Manage isolations, switching, and lock-off procedures to ensure a safe system of work.
• Manage, and cancel electrical Permits-to-Work/Permits-to-Test.
• Maintaining accurate records of isolations, switching schedules, and permits in line with company and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations and internal safety rules.
• Assess electrical risks and implement appropriate control measures.

Skills and requirements

• ·Experience writing method statements, risk assessments and H&S.
• ·hold or have held AP status in last 2 roles.
• Chemical, electrical, civil and mechanical process engineers for both design and site based role.

Confirmed role details

• Rate: £450per day - Outside IR35/LTD Company.
• Duration: 12 Months+/Ongoing.
• The business we're working with, a Leading Contractor are looking for an Electrical AP to oversee electrical delivery works on a major clean water project near Roydon.
• A great opportunity to join a contractor that have secured significant AMP7 & AMP8 contracts on the Thames Water Framework.
