Electrical CAD Technician

This Electrical CAD Technician role is focused on access Control Systems to some of the UK's largest Utility companies across the UK, to join as an ambitious Electrical CAD Technician and help to develop the business during an exc. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Who the work supports

Key Skills & Competencies: Experience of creating / modifying electrical schematics in Autodesk AutoCAD (minimum 2 years). Provide technical support to shop floor and on-site technicians.

Engineering work involved

Access Control Systems to some of the UK's largest Utility companies across the UK, to join as an ambitious Electrical CAD Technician and help to develop the business during an exc. Develop and amend drawings in accordance with appropriate standards and procedures and in line with the agreed timescales and deadlines. Design layouts, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, assembly and part drawings and associated cable schedules, BOM's and cut lists.

Technical skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Job details

• Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm.
• Modifying electrical cabinet internal layouts (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (essential).
• Experience of using Autodesk REVIT to produce electrical equipment room layouts (preferable).
