Job description
The Electrical Commissioning Engineer position centres on contribute to team meetings, liaise with the designer and Project managers for electrical deliverables. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Where the work sits
Take part in the execution of site commissioning activities including supervision of contractor commissioning personnel on behalf of HPC to achieve successful and safe commissionin. Accountable to a nominated Commissioning Manager/Engineer in the NNB HPC Project team.
How the role works day to day
Contribute to team meetings, liaise with the designer and Project managers for electrical deliverables. Contribute to design reviews to ensure layout of plant items and systems are in a manner that allows ease of commissioning. What needs to be in place
- Ability to plan works and support scheduling including understanding outputs of planning tools such as Microsoft project or Primavera P6.
- Degree qualified (or equivalent qualification such as HNC + experience) in Electrical Engineering.
- BS7671 18th Edition regulations.
