Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer focuses on design bespoke electrical control panels for web‑transport and automation machinery.

What the role involves

• Design bespoke electrical control panels for web‑transport and automation machinery.
• Produce detailed electrical schematics including control circuits, power distribution and safety systems.
• Create wiring diagrams for motors, drives, sensors, actuators, HMIs and field devices.
• Specify cable routing, connectors, field wiring schedules and termination details.
• Generate accurate Bills of Materials for all electrical components.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (IEC/EN 60204‑1, Machinery Directive, CE/UL).

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
