Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer focuses on create accurate electrical schematics, bill of materials and technical documentation.

What the role involves

• Create accurate electrical schematics, bill of materials and technical documentation.
• Test PLC & HMI software (Allen Bradley & IFM Systems).
• Ensure all project documentation & technical files are compiled and stored correctly.
• Supporting Operations teams on improvement projects & focused improvements on Terex products.
• Occasionally perform equipment commissioning, installation, and testing both in Company and on-site.
• Supporting NPD (New Product Development) projects for Terex - ensuring projects needs are interpreted accurately.

Skills and requirements

• Degree in an Electrical Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent qualification.
• Technical expertise in designing 3 phase electrical control systems.
• Experience in electrical control panel design e.g. Zuken E3 Series.
• Experience in design of 24Vdc control systems including EtherNet IP, CANbus, Modbus etc. networks.

Confirmed role details

• Monday - Thursday 7.45-5.00 & Friday 7.45-12.30.
• Of the Electrical Engineer is to serve new product development (NPD).
