Electrical Design Engineer
Electrical Design Engineer focuses on create accurate electrical schematics, bill of materials and technical documentation.
What the role involves
- Create accurate electrical schematics, bill of materials and technical documentation.
- Test PLC & HMI software (Allen Bradley & IFM Systems).
- Ensure all project documentation & technical files are compiled and stored correctly.
- Supporting Operations teams on improvement projects & focused improvements on Terex products.
- Occasionally perform equipment commissioning, installation, and testing both in Company and on-site.
- Supporting NPD (New Product Development) projects for Terex - ensuring projects needs are interpreted accurately.
Skills and requirements
- Degree in an Electrical Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent qualification.
- Technical expertise in designing 3 phase electrical control systems.
- Experience in electrical control panel design e.g. Zuken E3 Series.
- Experience in design of 24Vdc control systems including EtherNet IP, CANbus, Modbus etc. networks.
Confirmed role details
- Monday - Thursday 7.45-5.00 & Friday 7.45-12.30.
- Of the Electrical Engineer is to serve new product development (NPD).
