Electrical Design Engineer

This Electrical Design Engineer opportunity is built around ensure the fitness and use of Inspection and Test Plans across the company. It would suit someone who can bring experienced within the construction industry from a Principle Contractor or Tier 2 Electrical & Mechanical contractor to the role.

Where ownership sits

Electrical Design Engineer, M&E and up to 33kV Distribution. Working with the commercial department to track technical or design change and variances.

What the role carries

Ensure the fitness and use of Inspection and Test Plans across the company. Production and/or review of clear, consistent, referenced calculations. Ensure HSE best practices are always followed.

What helps the work land well

Experienced within the construction industry from a Principle Contractor or Tier 2 Electrical & Mechanical contractor. Utilisation of Mechanical or Electrical design packages (Amtech, HEVACOMP, IES Trimble, Dialux). Utilisation of MS Project or P6 would be preferred.

What the role depends on

• Temporary works designated individual competency – advantageous.
• Previous experience within an M&E Contractor and.
• Detailed Design at RIBA Stage 4 or or after.
