Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer focuses on supporting the design and delivery of utility-scale solar pv and bess projects from development through to construction stages.

What the role involves

• Supporting the design and delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects from development through to construction stages.
• Review technical drawings, layouts, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including planning, development, and grid specialists to optimise project integration.
• Supporting grid connection and compliance activities in line with UK regulations and standards.
• Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification.
• Demonstrable history in planning new connections, preparing and submitting grid applications, reviewing offers for solar and/or storage.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
