Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer focuses on support the production of detailed electrical designs, undertake engineering calculations.

What the role involves

• Support the production of detailed electrical designs, undertake engineering calculations.
• Develop electrical building services systems from concept through to detailed design.
• Preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including BS 7671.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the implementation of BIM and digital engineering methodologies.

Skills and requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Working towards professional chartership, or willingness to pursue chartership with support from the employer.
• Understanding of electrical design principles, calculations, and relevant standards.
• Experience designing a range of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and earthing systems.
