What the role involves

  • Manage electrical activities, for example planned maintenance programmes, shut-downs, or emergency repairs.
  • Ensure that risk assessments, method statements and permits are created, implemented and followed.

Skills and requirements

  • Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for repair and improvement projects.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of large AC/DC motor controls, invertors and converters.
  • Hands on engineer who will do what it takes to keep the plant running.

Confirmed role details

  • Up to £52,000 plus £2,550 call out & 10% bonus.
  • Work directly with engineers in other disciplines and shift managers to ensure effective running of the process.
