Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer focuses on carry out all aspects of electrical maintenance, including lighting, power, distribution boards, and control panels.

What the role involves

• Carry out all aspects of electrical maintenance, including lighting, power, distribution boards, and control panels.
• Complete regular PPM tasks in line with SFG20 schedules.
• Resolve reactive issues and emergency faults quickly and safely.
• Perform emergency lighting and fire alarm testing, inspection & testing, and small electrical installations.
• Supporting minor mechanical and building fabric works when required.
• Liaise with site staff and contractors while upholding high service standards.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – essential.
• 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection (advantageous).
• Previous experience working in a commercial FM environment.

Confirmed role details

• Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
• £43k + Overtime + Benefits.
• This is a permanent, full-time role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is confident delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs in.
