Electrical Installation Technician focuses on assisting in the installation of traffic signals, controllers, pedestrian crossings, and ancillary equipment.

What the role involves

• Assisting in the installation of traffic signals, controllers, pedestrian crossings, and ancillary equipment.
• Managing and troubleshoot tasks across various sites daily.
• Conduct electrical tests and pre-commissioning checks.
• Maintaining clear communication with customers and fellow contractors Onsite.
• Ensure all work is completed to specification, meeting high standards and deadlines.
• Participate in mandatory product and industry accreditation training.

Skills and requirements

• While prior traffic industry experience is not required, a willingness to learn and a passion for on-site work are essential.
• Ideally possess an electrical qualification or some relevant experience (training provided for those without).
• Cooperative and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to transition between tasks and work areas while acquiring new skills.
