Electrical Maintenance Engineer focuses on carry out maintenance activities in your area of responsibility, maximizing wrench time while following safety protocols.

What the role involves

• Carry out maintenance activities in your area of responsibility, maximizing wrench time while following safety protocols.
• Supporting continuous improvement using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
• Provide feedback to planners and leadership to help optimize schedules, frequency, and parts planning.
• Conduct pre- and post-maintenance quality checks.
• Support the simplification and rationalisation of our lubricants.
• Managing lubrication mapping and execution.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with hands-on experience.
• Recognized electrical academic qualification.
• A sense of ownership for safety, quality, and performance.

Confirmed role details

• Hours/week on average, including weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
• This will rotate between days (05:45-18:00) and nights (17:45-6:00).

Candidate fit

• technical judgement, safe working habits, fault finding, and practical repair discipline

Additional role context

• Quarterly performance bonuses: £325 to £750.
